Attorney Bio

Elizabeth S. Ritter: Ms. Ritter practices in the areas of general business and corporate law, mergers, business planning and formation, and intellectual property.  Ms. Ritter provides clients with services ranging from business formation to corporation maintenance and record keeping to intellectual property protection, review and maintenance.  She has incorporated numerous corporations and limited liability companies, and she advised these entities on choice of entity selection as well as assisted in preparing contracts necessary for businesses in a variety of industries.

Ms. Ritter received her Juris Doctorate from Loyola University School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Ritter worked as a judicial clerk for an appellate judge and as a law clerk for a firm specializing in toxic torts and environmental law.  She has practiced at the Goodrich Law Firm since August of 2003.

Ms. Ritter is a member of the American Bar Association, where she is a member of its Business Law Section’s Corporate Governance Committee and Governing Documents and the Corporate Process Sub-committee.  Ms. Ritter is also a member of the Alabama State Bar and the Birmingham Bar Association, where she is a member of its Solo Practice and Small Firms Section.
