Although it is routine for attorneys to claim they are “problem solvers”, our problem solving ability is driven by our small and mid-sized business clients. These clients do not have unlimited resources. The problems may be the same, but the ability to solve them with money simply is not there. This challenge focuses our practice.
Our challenge is to handle simple transactions quickly and efficiently as well as accurately. Complex transactions are handled with the appropriate level of staffing. Because the knowledge base of three attorneys is limited in today’s overwhelmingly complicated legal world, part of what we focus on is working with other attorneys who focus their practice on related areas. This starts with Red Mountain Law, a network of attorneys who work with businesses in different areas. Beyond Red Mountain, we work with other attorneys and firms to provide our business clients with the appropriate attorney or firm.
The nature of our clients requires us to deliver services in a cost effective manner. We believe that the ability to solve a problem in a cost efficient manner is part and parcel of being a good lawyer. While the delivery of legal services has an inherent cost, we work with clients to ensure that budgets are met and payment terms are reasonable. The small firm environment allows flexibility in scope and fees.
The Goodrich Firm strives to work with exciting businesses. We learn from our entrepreneurial clients who, in turn, make us a better law firm and business. We place our focus on businesses because we enjoy the drive and motivation of those who run, own and work in businesses
