Attorney Bio
Brice M. Johnston: Mr. Johnston practices in four interrelated core areas: corporate transactions, real estate transactions, estate planning and administration, and litigation related to these practice areas. He represents individuals and private companies varying in size, industry and complexity. His clients include a federally funded tutoring program, an Alabama brew pub, a lifestyle apparel company, a regional real estate development company, an affiliation of Alabama real estate brokerages and real estate schools, and an economic development consulting firm.
Mr. Johnston received a B.B.A. in Business Management from the University of Georgia in 2000. He then served as the Assistant Safety and Human Resources Director with Jenkins Brick and Tile Company in Montgomery, Alabama. In 2005, he received his law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law where he served as Senior Editor of the Alabama Law Review. He then worked for over two years with a large Birmingham law firm, where his practice focused on assisting clients with corporate, real estate and litigation matters.
Mr. Johnston is a member of the American Bar Association, the Alabama State Bar and the Birmingham Bar Association. He is licensed to practice in all Alabama courts. He serves on the Board for the Birmingham Wild Turkey Federation and has obtained the rank of Eagle Scout. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree (LLM) in Taxation from the University of Alabama School of Law.
